THE BUDGET BOOZERS is an anonymous Swiss (Solothurn, Bern area) heavy alcoholic group with a penchant for glam rock and guitar-heavy bubble gum pop music, and also play with their other bands ‘The Jackets’, ‘The Lovers’ or the Post-punk’s ‘Dead Bunny’. But in 2005 they decided to found their own GLAM-PUNK universe with the fix Planet the BUDGET BOOZERS in the middle of it: French poetry and hairy rock’n’roll! Real hippie shit for real punks! For this, their 3rd album (they released the first 2 themselves) ,Love you, Hate you’ they went to Sebastian Zwahlen’s Strawberry Studios in Münsingen in Bern and hit you with 10 pop-punk glam bubblegum hits that you can hardly watch straight on, at the end it was mixed and mastered by the man from outer space and brilliant golden boy from another Mother: Jim Diamond (The Sonics, Dirtbombs, White Stripes).
